- Teams presentation of their Sustainable tourist brochure.
- Visit the Porreres' City Hall with explanations by a person who works there focussed on what to do in Porreres as a tourist.
- Visit Son Feliu a green and sustainable hotel. The visit consists on the owner explanation on sustainable hotels, the concept of organic agriculture and the vision of “green tourism”. Participants went there on food.
- Students workshops about tourism and the result of the questionnaires results. Students were divides into three different groups doing workshops:
- There were tourists at a restaurant
and they had to ask for organic and local food.
- some tourists want to have a bath
but the hotel staff have to explain them that they should have
showers due to water problems.
- Tourist are on the beach with no
respect to the natural dunes regeneration process. Locals have to
explain them about it.
Students write an article including the
following topics:
- transport
- accommodation
- local and organic food
- alternative activities
- leisure time
The article should include eco
travellers' opinion from different countries. Including:
- What they did thinking on transport
- water problem awareness
- getting involved with locals
- places they accommodate
Students were scientific experts on
Global Warming. They had compared the 6 schools outcomes from the
questionnaire and explain similarities and differences. Then, they
explained how tourists behavior should be in the 6 countries
according to live more sustainable.
They had to make 2 posters with their
ideas. The tools they could use:
- percentages
- diagrams
- graphics
- brainstorm
- lists
- drawings

- The comparison of good and bad tourism examples day. Students were divides into three groups (the same as the previous day) and they had to do some activities related to tourism in three different places, Artà (a very touristic village but really well preserved), Son Real (a public plot of land with no building and totally unspoilt) and Canpicafort (a totally destroyed town which has social activity only in summer).
- The presentation of the groups conclusions about the activities done the previous day: good and bad examples of sustainable tourism. Those presentations were listened by the COMENIUS responsible at the Balearic Islands Administration. She chose the best group presentation and said why. That group was the winner and got a prize at the “Green Party”, a promotional touristic Mallorcan mug (Administration gift).

Cultural and social activities:• Visit Porreres City Hall• Visit Arta`s Market• A day trip in Palma with a guided route• Visit the Cathedral• The final “Green Party” with the help of Music, Art, Language and Orientation, IES Porreres teachers, the collaboration of 3rd ESO students and their tutors, families and the two City halls (Vilafranca and Porreres). The participation of music bands of students and former students. The Assistance Certificats handing-in, the best comenius team prize given and a public thanks to everybody who took part in this project, especially the coordinator.
